Surviving a Collapse
Under preparedness is becoming a growing concern for Canadian families across the country. In the event of having to leave home unexpectedly Canadians are faced with limited options of where they can safely go for short term survival. Bivoac Off Grid has developed ideal BOL’s (bug out locations) based on survival factors that provide essential amenities and services exclusively to our members. It is up to the member to plan transportation routes, pack necessities and get to our nearest private location for refuge.
Well Water & Natural Creeks
Access to clean, drinkable water will be critical in an emergency. The Bivoac has a natural running creek and a very clean well water available in addition to your own backup water purification systems.
Off Grid Energy
Wood is our default fuel as it is a renewable resource and in abundance at all Bivoac locations. We also use propane appliances, gasoline generators and solar power as alternative energy sources.
Food & Resources
The Bivoac has many natural food sources such as wild game, fishing, foraging and garden areas. Our members will want to take advantage of our survival training courses throughout the year to be better prepared.

The Herd
North American Bison are growing in numbers after near extinction in 1883. Canada is known for its Woods Bison and the US is known for its Plains Bison. Bivoac sites will be shared with a sizable bison herd that are always pasture raised and grass fed on fenced ranchland. This unique majestic animal is part of our sustainable eco system in Alberta.
